Depending where you are in Australia, you might be starting to feel on onset of winter. If the thoughts of short days and cold nights has you ready to put your bike away in a couple of months, why not escape to the sub-tropics?

Think of Noosa and you're likely to think of resort style holidays, white snad beaches, impossibly beautiful beach bodies, and maybe a triathlon.
But that would be ignoring the mountain biking. Noosa has a whole range of mountain biking on offer, from the trails in Tewantin National Park, an easy ride from the beach on cycleways and bike lanes – and into the Noosa HInterland along the Noosa Trial Network.
In late February, we ventured to South East Queensland's sub-tropical oasis, to get a better taste of the mountain biking up there. And we'll be back. If you need to escape the winter chill this year, make sure you head up to Noosa.
