E13 launch a 12-speed upgrade kit
E13 says save your money! Get more range than Eagle with their $469.95 12-speed upgrade kit for SRAM 11-speed.
The front derailleur is dead, and mountain bikes iare ncreasingly designed around single chainrings. Ok, Shimano's latest M9100 still has a 2x option, and there are plenty of bikes still being designed with the capability to run two chainrings up front. But in Australia, our terrain is rarely steep and prolonged enough to need two chainrings, especially with the 500% gear range of SRAM Eagle or the 510% range of Shimano XTR M9100 and the 10-51 cassette.
With Eagle gear ranges now available in the SRAM GX and NX range, the eyewatering cost of an Eagle XX1 or X01 group set doesn't need to be swallowed. But it's nice to have nice things, and if you have a sweet SRAM GX, X1, X01 or XX1 11-speed bike – E13 have a 12-speed, wide range option for you. All for less than $500.

E13's latest addition to the TRS+ range is a 9-46 12-speed cassette that fits onto an XD driver. It is actually compatible with a SRAM Eagle drivetrain so the cassette is a lightweight (336g) wide-range (511% range) upgrade for a current Eagle setup too.
But the kit lets you change your current 11-speed SRAM group set, with spacers, tools, a chain and quick link, ratchets and springs – everything you need to make your SRAM group set from GX upwards a 12-speed group.
You'll still need to know what you're doing for the setup, but at under $500 to make your hot 11-speed bike 12-speed with the most range of any single chainring bike on the market… we think that's a good deal.
