Our latest issue, #163, is on the shelves, and if you haven't gone to pick one up yet here's a sneak peek at what's inside.
The big news is it's time to vote in the AMB Photo Competition. Even if you or a mate aren't finalists, by voting you're in with a chance to win a new pair of shoes thanks to Shmano! We're not spending $122 million to take a non-binding survey on who has the best photos, but your voting will pick the winner of the four categories: Speed, Style, Lifestyle and Adventure. And Shimano are rewarding the winners handsomely.
While we're on Tropical North Queensland, we sent our local correspondent William Bird out to the RRR, the iconic point-to-point race that starts on a farm and finishes at a pub. Of course it's grown in size and stature a little since a bunch of mates started it over 25 years ago. Find out more about this Aussie icon (The RRR, not Mr Bird) inside the feature!
We heard from mountain bike legend Hans Rey, as he set up a new trail connection in Livigno. With a visually guided ride around the lilft-assissted route, we're pretty tempted to head over to ride the Tutti Frutti Epic next year!
A little different and a slightly slower pace, we rode the Otago Central Rail Trail in late 2016 – it's pretty chileld out, and is essentially an offroad game of hopscotch between pubs and cafes. What's not to like?
