The Dual Compressor kicked off events. This narrow slalom trail causing much havoc with riders often literally coming head to head. Racing was tight and it was Blake Nielsen who edged out last years winner Graeme Mudd. In the Womens Tegan Molloy made a dominant show, strides ahead of her competition for the win.
With an open afternoon some riders practiced whilst a whole slew headed for the newly constructed ‘All Mountain’ trail. We will have a full ‘Places that rock’ rundown soon but for now, and for those here this weekend make sure you fit in a lap.
As the sun begun to set, the masses descended on the ‘Rockshox Pumptrack Challenge” with beer and sausage sandwiches were on hand. The times were tight, with riders having to either complete one lap or a figure 8’ish double of the ‘Crankworx’esq’ course.
