Shimano have released two new performance XC shoe models for 2014, the SH-XC70 and SH-XC90. What they lack in imaginative naming, they make up for in quality and features. Both shoes are available in half sizes and wide lasts.
The SH-XC70 has a synthetic leather upper and custom fit heat moldable insole. The micro adjust buckle helps refine the fit around the heel, and the low profile polyurethane sole lugs give traction for moving fast off the bike. RRP $349
The SH-XC90 is available in blue or black, and is also heat moldable for an optimised fit. The upper is a very fine synthetic leather, with a micro adjust buckle and velcro for a secure fit. A full carbon sole has a low profile outer sole and spikes. RRP $439
