Bike Check: Josh Carlson's Giant Trance E-29
Josh Carlson won the eMTB National Championships for the second year in a row. Here's a look at his Giant Trance E-29.
Josh Carlson has done a bunch of racing off road. From XCO, through to Downhill, Enduro – and more commonly now he's racing E-Enduro. Events that are specific for eMTBs are booming globally (sure, with a hiccup last year) and Carlson is at the forefront of the sport.
With the eMTB National Championships taking place on Wednesday 10th at the AusCycling MTB National Championships, Carlson was quick to make his mark on the race, leading from the gun. You can find the wrap up here.
So who is Josh Carlson anyway?
Josh Carlson is a 35 year old pro rider for the Giant Factory Off Road Team. He lives in Wollongong and he's in Maydena just for the eMTB race (and a bunch of runs on the hill). He's sponsored by: Giant Factory Offroad Team, Thule, Swift Supplements, FTP Training, Barkbusters.
