Panozzo and Whiteman on top of the box at Stromlo

The second round of 2017’s Gravity Enduro series, hosted by MTBA, brings competitors and spectators to the nation’s capital – Mount Stromlo. The set up was a 4 stage (5 for Masters – Elite classes), 60 kilometre, 3-and-a-half hour ride up and down some of the best trails that Stromlo has to offer.
After a heavy dumping of rain on the Friday prior to racing, paired with some sunlight over the whole weekend, the tracks remained tacky and covered in hero-traction right until the end of racing on Sunday.
Come Sunday morning, the mountain was coated in fog that quickly dissipated just in time for the younger kids to depart at 8:30am, followed by all other categories right through to the elites.
