The Weekend’s a Beaut’
Last weekend the National Series went to Mt Beauty for a weekend of dusty downhill mayhem. Nick Waygood took control of the lens for AMB - check out his mega gallery from the racing.
The third stage of the MTBA DHI Nationals series brought competitors to the beautiful Mount Beauty, Victoria.
Riders scoped the course, practiced, got their seeding sorted then went full tilt. All images and captions by Nick Waygood.
In Elite Womens, Dannielle Beecroft crossed the finish line all smiles with a time of 3:27.395, with Georgia Astle in second with a time of 3:31.547, and Tegan Molloy in third with 3:33.582!
The winner of Elite Mens was tied down to Dean Lucas, Connor Fearon, or Jack Moir. Seeding times were all within the same second! Jack Moir ended up taking it home though, with a time of 2:47.200, only a mere 0.186 seconds ahead of Fearon! Lucas slotted himself into third with a time of 2:49.673.
