Our latest issue is on sale now - our 4th Alpine Issue is one that celebrates riding up high.
Just in time for a summer of mountain biking, AMB Issue #172 has hit the shelves. This is our 4th Alpine Issue, something we have taken to doing once per year. Riding in the high alpine is a special mountain bike experience. Typically you are away from crowds, heat and work.
So that's where lots of our stories come from for this issue. We took a trip to Thredbo with some of the best young gravity talent, to look into why exactly Thredbo is the home of gravity riding in Australia.
We also had a story from Chris Panozzo, riding from the top of the trails at Falls Creek back to his home town of Mt Beauty with Ben McIlroy – a ride that disregarded mountain bike park boundaries and instead sought to create a big mountain experience.
We also had Ryan Walsch test Fox Live Valve with Ride Fox Australia – they had some of the custom wizardry so Ryan could really tune the settings to create a bike that rode just how he wanted – you can find out more in the issue.
While at Thredbo we also had a chance to sit down with Kye A'Hern to find out about his 2018 season (spoiler – it was amazing) and how he plans to build from here.
