The Swiss brand, BMC, will have a new importer for Australia from September 1st, as Advanced Traders take the premium brand under their wing.

Established in 1994, BMC Switzerland employs up to 200 people, worldwide. It is headquartered in Grenchen, Switzerland where it also has its very own carbon production and R&D facility – the Impec Lab. BMC’s bikes are ridden by the world’s top athletes, including the BMC Racing Team, Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team, BMC Factory Trailcrew, and BMC Mountain bike Racing Team – including the 2014 XCO World Champion, Julien Absalon.

So what’s that mean? BMC are a pretty big deal.

Advance Traders and BMC Switzerland are excited to form the new partnership. An introduction of the 2016 BMC program to their dealers is planned on 4th of September.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the 2016 highlights – but models for Australia are yet to be confirmed.

This is big news for Australian mountain bikers, as the supply of BMC mountain bikes wasn’t what it was previously, with a heavier road focus in the Australian market over the past five years. And why not? Cadel rode them afterall!

But with the TrailFox, SpeedFox, Fourstroke and Teamelite, they have a stunning mountain bike line up to suit pure XCO racers through to all-mountain riders and Enduro racers.
