Canyon shake up their gravity range for 2018
German company unveil new Torque, Sender AL and G5 gravity component range.
Canyon have announced a major upgrade to their gravity range for 2018.
The update means the return of the Torque, plus a new aluminium version of the Sender and a full line of ‘G5’ Canyon-engineered handlebars, stems and grips made for gravity riding.
The new Torque has 175mm of rear suspension on offer from its new linkage and the three-phase kinematic which was developed for the Sender CF. That promises next-level traction and should make every ride come alive – whether you’re taking on the most challenging backcountry trails or just doing jump lines at the bike park.
Canyon believe the ‘do-it-all’ Torque will be stable and grounded at speed, while also begging to get airborne – aided by the 180mm of travel up front.
Elsewhere, the Sender AL – based on the same bike that Troy Brosnan rode to World Cup victory in Vallnord – brings race-winning pedigree to a robust aluminium frame.
Each bike comes equipped with a coil shock that uses a similar three-phase kinematic to its carbon fibre companion and is slated to provide superior grip and inspiring speed over any terrain.
Another new offering from Canyon is their G5 range of gravity components, featuring bombproof handlebars and stems.
The new components will come fitted as standard on various 2018 Torque, Sender and Stitched models, but are also available for anyone to purchase from the Canyon webshop.
