Canyon's new Neuron AL and Neuron kids' bike

The popular Canyon Neuron AL has been updated, and now comes in a kids' model!

The Neuron is Canyon's all-round full-suspension mountain bike – it has been designed to be efficient enough for big days with plenty climbing, and with 130mm of travel, Canyon believe the Neuron is also capable enough to tackle technical trails. We tested a Neuron CF last year, and now you can get the same features on the carbon bike in aluminium.

The Canyon NeuronA classic mountain bike in the truest sense of the word, the aluminium Neuron AL has been one of Canyon’s top sellers for years. Mountain biking has evolved and so the Neuron AL has evolved along with it, gaining features from the updated Neuron CF.

The frame is all-new, the old bike’s vertical shock has been replaced by a horizontal design. There’s still 130 mm of travel on the rear, but the new bike now features Canyon’s tried-and-tested Triple Phase Kinematics, implemented on a large range of the brand’s full-suspension bikes.

The system delivers sensitivity at the start of the stroke, stability through the middle, and a progressive ramp for that endless feel at the end of the stroke. With geometry optimised for big 29er wheels in larger frame sizes, the Neuron AL should climb and descend with stability. To make sure smaller riders aren't left out, the 2XS, XS and S sizes were designed around 27.5" wheels.
