Chocolate Foot are proud to announce a new initiative to support women’s mountain biking in NSW. Manly Cycles, Specialized, Cycle Studio and Chocolate Foot are combining their energies to form a Women’s MTB Development team.

This initiative is designed to bring together five women of varying skill and experience and develop them into competent racers who we hope will also become a great example to other women who would like to get into mountain biking or improve their riding and racing.

With the assistance of Cycle Studio, riders will have access to state of the art Wattbikes to train on at Cycle Studio’s purpose designed indoor studio in Balgowlah under the guidance of expert fitness and cycling coaches. Fiona and Joe of Chocolate Foot will provide MTB skills training, race entries, and will manage the team. Manly Cycles, as a flagship Specialized dealer, will provide bike servicing, accessories and the opportunity to race on one of Specialized’s awesome bikes such as the Rumor and Fate.

Chocolate Foot are now looking for riders for the inaugural team roster, if you are a keen MTB’er or cyclist and would like to progress, develop your skills, fitness and have a passion for racing then see chocolatefoot.com.au for information on applying for a position on the team.

Chocolate Foot co-founder Fiona Dick says “I’d like to stress that we’re not looking for the best riders, we’re looking for those with potential, commitment, and a desire to progress in their mountain biking.”

Chocolate Foot and the team’s sponsor partners are very excited about this initiative and look forward to giving updates and team roster and race schedule soon.
