Our friends at Rocky Trail Entertainment are bringing their party vibes to Stromlo Forest Park this September for the AMB 100. Mark September 17 in your diaries, as the Rocky Trail crew host one of the most varied marathon-style mountain bike events on the calendar!

This event really has something for almost anyone. A big lap is marked out, typically between 22-27km, depending on what trails are running the best. You'll take on the switchback climbs, flowing trails, sweeping descents… and probably a sharp climb or two as well. As the AMB 100 is a lap based event everything is a lot easier for any support crew that may come out, but it also means you can easily support yourself with a few fresh bottles and snacks in your esky at the start/finish area.

How big the challenge you sign up for is up to you. You can opt for a single lap, a double, a triple – or 5 laps, which is the Miler option. While it isn't actually 100 miles, it will feel like it. This one has a pre-dawn start so it is one for the keen beans.

Our double lap option is the most popular. It lets you get a great taste of the circuit before hitting all your lines a little faster on the second lap. Of course for those who want the extra challenge, the triple lap will make sure you've earnt your recovery drink of choice.
