FIRST LOOK: Bianchi Ethanol 27.1 FSE
Our last bike to test for Issue 147 is the Bianchi Ethanol 27.1 FSE. It's a big, big step away from their Methanol 29 range, and a long step from the days of the Grizzly.
Bianchi, a brand known for road bikes, some pretty hot cross-country bikes, and a funny bluey green colour (it’s called celeste). While we had a Bianchi JAB hardtail on review last year, this Ethanol is an all-together different bike.
Bianchi developed the Ethanol 27.5″ FSE and FST range last year, just in time for Eurobike. This FSE has 160mm of travel, but shares the same main triangle as the 130mm travel FST. The spec looks pretty smart with a predominantly SRAM 11 speed drivetrin. First impressions are: light and sharp.
Stay tuned for the full test in Issue 147 – out 6th April. Or subscribe now so you don’t miss out.
