Canyon have been working hard on having the best bikes across all platforms: road, mountain, triathlon… and they’re pretty much achieving auccess wherever they develop their bikes. The Canyon road bikes are being lead to victories under two World Tour pro teams. Alban Lakata won another XCM World Championship aboard the Canyon Exceed hardtail, and the Canyon Strive has been used to bring immense success at the Enduro World Series.

So, when we needed to test a bike at the all-mountain Swiss Epic Flow event, it seemed like the Canyon Strive was worth playing with. Claiming to be two bikes in one thanks to the Shapeshifter, which adjusts the position of the shock to tune the geometry, suspension travel and kinematics – the Strive begs to be ridden to be believed.

We had Stuart Spies put the Strive to the test in Switzerland, to see if there really were two bikes underneath the shiny blue pain job. Full details on the Canyon Strive range can be found online.
