FIRST LOOK: Giro Terraduro and Terradura

Giro have a strong helmet game, and match it with their shoes and other accessories. Best of all, their popular Terraduro trail shoe is matched with the ladies Terradura.

The Giro Terraduro has been a sought after shoe for a number of reasons. It’s got a great Vibram sole for grip, a buckle and two velcro tabs for a secure fit, the sole is stiff enough for peromance but still capable of walking – and they don’t look like a football boot. (They come in black too).

They’re a low volume shoe that blurs the lines between race kicks and skate shoes, but marries some of the best parts of both.

One of the best things is that there’s a women’s model too – the Terradura.

Features and construction remain the same across both models, but the fit has been modified to suit men’s and women’s feet. Slipping them on, they’re pretty firm out of the box. The tongue is cut quite high but it is expected this will soften up.

The cleat is well-recessed into the Vibram sole, and walking around to scope lines isn’t like skating on ice.

We’ll have a full review in coming issues.
