First Look: Mondraker Crafty
This 130mm, All Mountain 29er in its magnificent metallic blue is ready to shed. A beautifully specced bike with a near spot on components build it seems comfortable and balanced straight out of the box. We can't wait to see if this medium tester is more than the sum of it's engineered designs and truly shred both the trails here and abroad.
Mondraker is mostly known for their downhill bike the ‘Summum’ piloted by such skilled alumni as Fabian Barel and currently by highly esteemed Danny Hart and Emmeline Ragot. It is in their All Mountain bikes however that are truly paving the way with ‘Forward Geometry, a longer top tube and shorter stem, putting the rider more direct over the steering. Coming in initially with the ‘Foxy’ it has since trickled down throughout the range, right to our test bike this issue the Crafty XR 29″.
