FIRST LOOK: Specialized Enduro Evo

What looks like a Specialized Enduro and rides like a Demo? Well that would be a Specialized Enduro Evo - one of the bikes we are testing for Issue 149.

What’s not quite an all-mountain bike, and not quite a downhill bike? Maybe something like Specialized Enduro Evo. This bike sits a little apart from what you will see at a National DH round, or being loaded off the bike of a car at even the gnarliest trails.

While sitting atop the Enduro range from Specialized, the Enduro Evo is essentially a short travel downhill bike, designed for fast downhill courses, where long pedalling sections mean that a bike sporting 170mm of travel is far more competitive than something running 203mm. That also means it’s a bit less of a handful for most riders toying with some serious gravity riding along with their other mountain biking.

As such it’s a perfect bike to sit in our the bike tests for our next issue. Don’t miss it – it’s on sale on August 8th, or you can subscribe so you never miss and issue.
