Get set for the James Williamson Memorial Enduro
The James Williamson Memorial Enduro is coming up in March? Will you put a number on and support junior development?
Wingello State Forest is well-known to many mountain bikers around NSW and the ACT. It's riddled with singletrack and firetrail, and for some Sydney-siders it might even be their first choice for a mountain bike ride when they escape the confines of the big smoke.
But Wingello has also hosted countless mountain bike events over the past decade, including the James Williamson Memorial Enduro, in memory of James Williamson who passed away in his sleep at the 2010 Cape Epic.
11 March will see the eighth running of the popular Willo Enduro at Wingello State Forest. The Willo course follows the much loved 25km Red Trail at Wingello, with 25km, 50km or 75km options as well as a 13KM loop for younger riders. While serious contenders battle it out for line honours, the Willo also attracts riders of all levels and ages. It's a grand day out in the forest.
All proceeds from this event are put back into Junior Development with the Willo Junior Camp held each November at Jindabyne.
