Knolly's All-Mountain Mobster.

When we set out to jump into the big(ger) wheels game, we had only one prerequisite.

When we set out to jump into the big(ger) wheels game, we had only one prerequisite… “It has to ride like a Knolly.” Seems easy, right? Not exactly.

Geometry and rider position are always very important, which becomes magnified as the wheel size grows. You will never ride ‘on top’ of a Knolly, but rather ‘in it’, ready to rock. Standover clearance has always been a proud feature of all our designs, and bigger wheels shall not stand in the way of this standard. Front end stack height can be a concern when running bigger wheels, since when the wheel gets taller, the fork gets taller, and so on… and so on. Knolly’s Chief designer, Noel Buckley, remedied this concern by utitlizing a short(but stout) tapered headtube, which allows for a ‘zero-stack’ headset to keep things low up front. This means that the rider’s ‘attack position’ remains virtually identical to a 26″ wheel set-up, so everything feels familiar and provokes an aggressive riding style.

The Warden pulls no punches in the features department, because the discerning rider always appreciates ‘the little things’:

* 12×142 rear axle/dropouts

* Titanium pivot fasteners

* Height adjustable front derailleur direct mount

* Fully customizable modular cable routing

* Guides for both top tube AND stealth dropper post routing

* Keyed main pivot axle (allows torque check with one tool from non-drive side)

The Warden is the proud result of 10 years of design evolution here at Knolly. We couldn’t be more excited about this bike.
