Top Mountain Biking Trail to Get Even Better

Warringah Council is making $110,000 worth of improvements to the Manly Dam Mountain Bike Track.

The works come after consultation with local riders and include improving the surface and drainage and adding sandstone features in key locations to improve the riders experience and minimise environmental damage.

“We’re improving the surface and reducing the impact on the environment while maintaining the technical features which make Manly Dam one of Sydney’s best Mountain Bike Tracks,” said Warringah Mayor, Michael Regan.

The works will be done by experienced Mountain Bike Track builders and will run from May to June.

Sections of the track may be closed during this time and there will be some diversions in place. Riders are asked to watch http://www.warringah.nsw.gov.au/your-council/current-works-and-projects for details.
