Marzocchi back in Australia with Sola Sport
The Italian suspension company has changed ownership, and will now be coming into Australia via Sola Sport.
Marzocchi have wowed the world with their suspension designs over the past two to three decades. From the Z1 which revolutionised trail riding and suspension feel, to the stunning Monster and Shiver, or the first upside down carbon single crown fork in 2000… Marzocchi have been a major part of mountain bike suspension history.
Sola Sport will, with effect from 1 November 2016, become the Australian Distributor of the now USA based Marzocchi.
Marzocchi was founded in 1949 when Stefano and Guglielmo Marzocchi started Marzocchi Spa in Bologna, Italy. But on November 13 of 2015, Marzocchi was acquired by Fox Factory Inc. Headquartered in Scotts Valley, CA, FOX designs and manufactures high-performance ride dynamics products primarily for bicycles, side-by- side vehicles, on-road and off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, and motorcycles.
The plan is to use Marzocchi to approach a wider variety of suspension price points – which is good enws for riders.
Marzocchi’s extensive current range blends art, function and the latest technologies to deliver class leading forks and shocks suitable for demanding use in all mountain biking disciplines such as cross country, downhill, dirt jump, trail and enduro.
Both SOLA and Marzocchi are committed to delivering superior supply, spare parts service, warranty and support to the market to exceed the expectation of the Australian bicycle retailer network and customers. All Marzocchi products carry a 12 month manufacturer warranty.
