Take a look inside AMB Issue #164
Take a look through Issue #164 of AMB where we announced the AMB Photographer of the Year!
The 164th issue of Australian Mountain Bike is in newsagents and on the coffee tables of subscribers around the country – have you seen a copy yet? Here's a quick glimpse of what's inside.
AMB Photographer of the Year
With generous help from Shimano, we had this competition open to anyone in the world. We asked you to capture four key components of our sport: speed, adventure, skill and the lifestyle. While each component had a category, only one person would be the AMB Photographer of the Year. You can see the winner here, but read more about them in the issue.
In Rainbows
The 2017 Mountain Bike World Championships came, and now they have gone. We wrap up what was an intense 5 days of racing in the jungle and dust. From looking at pro bikes, to talking to race winners and those who might have taken away a stripey jersey. This was Australia's time in the spotlight for the year, and we truly rose to the occasion.
Wild Wairoa
What do you think about a millionaire who is passionate about mountain biking and has properties around the world with purposed-made and maintained trails – and they're no walk in the park? Welcome to Wairoa Gorge near Nelson. Not everyone has the keys, but our guides did…
This is going to be Epic
We test the new Specialized Epic. What's changed? What's improved? And will it make you faster? You can check out the first look already, but get the full insights in the issue.
Return of the king
The Giant Anthem is a stalwart of the cross-country scene, but its face changed so much over the years. Giant gave a new life to the Anthem last year, as a 120mm trail bike. But the Anthem 29er brings back the XC speed and agility to the marquee. Don't miss the review.
Plus we have skills tips from Jared Rando, workshop how-to from Summit Cycles, nutrition and training advice and much more. All still for less than $10. Better than that, you can subscribe, save money per issue and even win a Merida One-Forty 700!
