FIRST LOOK: The YT Capra CF 29 Pro Race
The YT Capra has been called the greatest of all time - and does the new 170mm travel 29" version maintain that claim?
When YT released an all-new Capra at the start of 2018, there was a lot of excitement about the return of a bike that many have said is the greatest of all time. Coming in both 27.5" and 29" models, the all-mountain and enduro platform is available in alloy and carbon fibre models, and with build options to suit most budgets.
We've had a YT Capra 29 CF Pro Race on test for our next issue, and it is clear that YT didn't really skimp on anything for the spec of this all-mountain beast.
YT claim the new model is lighter and stiff than the previous one, and the geometry has been redesigned to be longer, slacker, and tighter in the back end.
